SERVING CLIENTS IN CT & MI

Life can be painful; we often lose sight of ourselves and the things that matter to us most while we try to manage our distress the best we can. As your therapist I will help you find your path to a fulfilling, authentic, and meaningful life, even when faced with the suffering that life undoubtedly brings. I believe therapy should be a safe and affirming space for you to explore the context of your troubles, recognize your strengths, and find a path to healing, connection, and value.

I work with clients on a range of issues including anxiety, depression, identity development, and adjustment to life transitions. I also specialize in sex, intimacy, and relationship concerns including sexual dysfunction (low desire/arousal, erectile issues, painful sex, orgasm difficulties), poor communication, disconnection, conflict, and lack of intimacy. As an AASECT certified sex therapist and EFT trained relationship therapist, I have completed hundreds of hours of post-graduate education, training, and supervision specific to treating sex and relationship concerns.

Due to the pandemic, I am only able to meet with clients online through my secure Telehealth platform at this time.

Sexuality

Sex is supposed to be a pleasurable and connective experience, but that hasn’t been your experience. Instead you feel anxious and alone, believing things will never change. I can help you overcome sexual dysfunction, feel more connected, and have better, more pleasurable sex.

Relationships

Happily ever after is hard work; you can’t seem to agree, you’ve grown disconnected, or your relationship is lacking the passion it once had. I can help you and your partner(s) develop a deeper connection, stop arguing, and address longstanding negative patterns in your relationship.

LGBTQIA

It’s tough enough to be yourself. You deserve to be affirmed in therapy with a competent therapist who understands what you’re going through. Whether it be navigating marginalization, coming out, or questioning your gender identity and sexual orientation, I can help you.

Mental Health

The good things in life often come with great struggle. Stress, anxiety, and depression often get in the way of living life to its fullest. I can help you manage your mental health more effectively while you pursue what really matters.
